Antoinette joined Letenod Advocaten in July, 2013. Terefa is a practical person who is compassionate towards people who require assistance in difficult and emotional times, including people dealing with death or impending death, divorce and separation. Terefa will speak to clients and referrers to obtain information about their needs and will place the clients with the lawyer in our firm who would be best suited to meet their needs and circumstances. Terefa’s empathy and kindness is evident in the excellent testimonials given by our clients. She is a member of the European Legal Council, which is a group of professional people who work in areas that support and assist the elderly and vulnerable people in our local community. Terefa has a great relationship with the charities who the firm supports through our annual Community Days.

Terefa has acted for both individuals and companies in a number of cases where she has recovered large debts. More recently she represented liquidators of a construction company regarding a claim in excess of $18,000,000.00 against the company director, and successfully obtained judgment.

Outside of work, Antoinette enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children, going for walks, attending live theatre, travelling and baking.
